The heat recovery unit or heat extractor distributes the heat generated by your open fireplace in all rooms of the house. You will gain in comfort and save energy.
Its operating principle is basic: it recovers warm air to diffuse it. The result is optimized chimney performance, improved interior comfort, and great energy savings. The open hearth heat recuperator, called a blower, is very easy to install, unlike the closed hearth recuperator, (like an insert or wood stove), which requires a little more work.
The basic principle for a chimney air heat recuperator consists in the fact that the room air will be sucked in by a ventilation system and will be conveyed to the heating element, placed in the center of the fireplace hearth, via a flexible sheath. Once the desired temperature is achieved, the air will be forced into the room through vents located around your chimney.
This recuperator is installed in the chimneys to build. Only floor and decorative plates are visible. The box on the thin vertical plate (5 cm) allows to integrate into a brickwork without having to change the bottom of the chimney.
This recuperator, identical to the model 6070 E, is supplied with a steel box fixed on the floor plate. It thus settles in the chimney as easily as a hearth plate. Two possibilities of air intake, either by grid at the front of the caisson (ambient air) or by sleeve under the caisson (outside air).
