The valance or cast iron fabric band is a decorative drop or trim at the top of a building's roof. We can reproduce any cast iron valance or forged iron piece identically.

Post cover / Seal cover
Our Birdie foundry cast iron post caps or balustrade covers are beautiful wrought iron pieces designed to decorate and enhance your round or square posts and balusters. They are generally used to conceal and mask weld joints while securing the posts to the ground. They can be placed both indoors (stairs, guardrails) and outdoors (security grilles, gates, pergolas, railings).

For safety and comfort reasons, a guardrail, a window sill, or a stair railing requires a handrail. This element typically crowns the cast iron protective rail. The handrail can be added to an existing structure or replaced for restoration.
Our master foundrymen are able to adapt our handrail models to all cast iron constructions made according to your needs. It is also possible to replicate your guardrail, your support bar, your cast iron window sill, or wrought iron.
Our handrails are made of wood or iron, then painted. The flat iron, a durable and solid material, has been worked by the Birdie foundry family since 1850 to ensure its fastening and finishing qualities.

Sealing fixing brackets
Sealing brackets and screw-in brackets for guardrails, window supports, support bars, cross balconies, made of cast iron and forged iron, for attachment to woodwork, or on brick or concrete masonry.
The fixing brackets are cast iron pieces that must be sealed in mortar or fixed by screwing for the attachment of grilles or guardrails in architecture.
We also restore your cast iron fixing brackets or forged iron brackets by reproduction to match the original. This reproduction applies to all styles, including the restoration of Haussmannian castings, antique, and replicas of antique pieces.
We produce three models of brackets: a simple sealing bracket, a sealing bracket for external insulation, and a screw-in bracket.
